Most people modernize the statement by saying, \u201cTreat others the way you want them to treat you.\u201d Show respect if you want to be respected. Show kindness if you want to receive kindness. And so on. Few disagree with this reciprocal principle known as&nbsp;<em>The Golden Rule.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-228ecebb83968d3a51284bba5ccdbef6\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">Jesus spoke these words in the context of God\u2019s goodness to us. In&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Matt%207.11\"><em>Matthew 7:11<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;he says, \u201cIf you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!\u201d God is good and gives good gifts. If we want to be like Him, we strive to avoid doing or saying anything that harms us or other people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2f25002c1d77973cabbbefa82718fc1a\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">Living by this principle allows the love of God to flow through us. Paul explained the practical aspects of this teaching in Philippians: \u201cDo nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others\u201d&nbsp;<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Phil%202.3%E2%80%934\"><em>Philippians 2:3\u20134<\/em><\/a><em>).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d3f3e3129eeee77140dc89448e7aa3ed\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">And yet Satan, the father of lies and twister of truth, has taken Jesus\u2019 words and reshaped them into a weapon of mass deception that wreaks havoc in the world, especially through LGBTQ+ activism and advocacy. \u201cTreat others the way you want them to treat you\u201d has been twisted into a distorted rainbow version:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"font-size:22px\" class=\"adobe-reg wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Treat me the way I want to be treated no matter how delusional it is;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Treat me the way I want to be treated no matter how damaging it is.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading proxima-font has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-13911f37bacb409db1208f894d33cfc1\" style=\"color:#4a4a4a;font-size:22px;letter-spacing:2px;text-transform:uppercase\"><strong>NO MATTER HOW DELUSIONAL IT IS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fec1280bb2f21cd8ef86c5e271041904\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">In 2021,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/male-inmates-in-womens-prisons-11622474215\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">California law SP 132<\/a>&nbsp;made it possible for \u201ctransgender-identified male state prison inmates to transfer into women\u2019s prisons based on \u2018individual preference\u2019\u2014no hormones, surgery or time spent living as the opposite sex required.\u201d Say you identify as female, and even if you\u2019re in prison for sexually assaulting women, you can serve your time with them.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ca4590a667403822d3e22af0ed193bb1\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">In recent months a biological male, Rachel Levine,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/in-depth\/opinion\/2022\/03\/13\/rachel-levine-honoree-usa-today-women-of-the-year\/6600134001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was named one of&nbsp;<em>USA Today\u2019s<\/em>&nbsp;Women of the Year<\/a>. Another biological male, Lia Thomas, won the Division I&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/college\/2022\/03\/18\/lia-thomas-trans-woman-win-ncaa-swimming-championship\/7088548001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NCAA women\u2019s swimming championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-957530b9503b7d1bafc5c6a1cecc8eab\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">As absurd as the above statements may seem, they are facts. Daily we are told by LGBTQ+ activists, government officials, and media outlets that unless we accept these absurdities, we are transphobic deniers of reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-deac81997535696f02781f3542baf769\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">In an interview with Robert Sanchez of&nbsp;<em>Sports Illustrated<\/em>, Thomas said,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/college\/2022\/03\/03\/lia-thomas-penn-swimmer-transgender-woman-daily-cover\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cI am a woman, just like everybody else on the team.\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;But biology says he is not a woman. As the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/COMPETITION_FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Women\u2019s Forum<\/a>&nbsp;admits, \u201cGenetic differences cannot be eliminated by reducing testosterone.\u201d Biologically, males have more muscle and less fat than females, larger hearts, and greater lung capacity to take in oxygen. Just look at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/this-photo-should-end-the-transgender-athlete-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">photo<\/a>&nbsp;of the NCAA championship awards ceremony. One of those swimmers is not like the others. Genetics say Thomas is a biological male living under the delusion that he is a woman.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f60e6c35aec436a848b67c95f2a79477\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">The Bible says God is the originator of gender: \u201cmale and female he created them\u201d&nbsp;<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Gen%201.28\"><em>Genesis 1:28<\/em><\/a><em>).<\/em>&nbsp;And when he evaluated all he had made, \u201cit was very good\u201d&nbsp;<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Gen%201.31\"><em>Genesis 1:31<\/em><\/a><em>).<\/em>&nbsp;The genders are distinct, and they are equally valuable; they are not interchangeable or mixable. To encourage people of any age to believe that gender is perceptional, not biological, is harmful to both those who embrace the delusion and those who are pressured to support it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading proxima-font has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-33225ddd07fef4d92236faa9ba6df93f\" style=\"color:#4a4a4a;font-size:22px;letter-spacing:2px;text-transform:uppercase\"><strong>NO MATTER HOW DAMAGING IT IS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-eb0118c339419a6e7e03829949f50a5d\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">A second lie LGBTQ+ activists tell us is that being true to who you think you are or who you want to be is more important than any damage that belief may cause. Levine, the transgender pediatrician who now serves as the US Assistant Secretary for Health, says his guiding principle would be compassion for others and to help others to serve and to help others. \u201cAnd that\u2019s what I have really always tried to do in all aspects of my life, to consider other people and to do the best that I can to help them.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cf579696ecde209fbd411868fee8302c\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">Yet Levine\u2019s LGBTQ+ advocacy has adversely affected millions of students in our schools who are forced to share locker rooms with those whose biological gender conflicts with their gender preference and are subjected to a curriculum that encourages them to question their God-given gender.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/education\/536624-its-time-to-support-science-based-sex-ed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">He supports<\/a>&nbsp;\u201ccomprehensive sexuality education (CSE), an approach that goes beyond abstinence and safe sex to include discussion of sexual orientation, gender identification, and other health and sexuality topics.\u201d The fact that&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/articles\/2022\/03\/29\/unbothered_by_criticism_desantis_is_the_governor_florida_needs_147399.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Governor Ron Desantis of Florida signed<\/a>&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Session\/Bill\/2022\/1557\/BillText\/e1\/PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parental Rights in Education bill<\/a>&nbsp;into law last month to protect children through grade 3 from this kind of curriculum shows how far our culture has drifted from the idea that we should not do or say anything that will harm others.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-90e9521408766d2520e19c302edd3b99\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">The Bible gives parents the right to determine what is best for their children and counsels parents to \u201cbring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord\u201d&nbsp;<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Eph%206.4\"><em>Ephesians 6:4<\/em><\/a><em>).<\/em>&nbsp;Surely affirming that each child is created by God and his or her gender is ordained by God is part of this instruction. To create confusion and stress about gender\u2014to imply that God made a mistake\u2014does not align with the Biblical teaching that each person is \u201cfearfully and wonderfully made\u201d&nbsp;<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Ps%20139.14\"><em>Psalm 139:14<\/em><\/a><em>).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading proxima-font has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1aede14cad60e7f401fc6af97b70ea2b\" style=\"color:#4a4a4a;font-size:22px;letter-spacing:2px;text-transform:uppercase\"><strong>FAMILIES IN PAIN<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-08691715226de80063cba90fcca4cb8f\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">The men, women, and children who come to me for counseling speak of the excruciating pain caused by those who selfishly pursue opposite-sex identities. Here are a few of their comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8fd0a1e4b06b9e571ad6a1141cfdcbcc\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">Julie and her three sons \u201clived in an endless cycle of relapses and denial,\u201d she says. \u201cRumors about J.M. [her husband] spread through the kids\u2019 school. The other parents no longer allowed their children to play with mine or to come to our house. At church and at school, people\u2019s heads swiveled to stare at us. \u2026 I had to watch my children suffer the loss of the man they knew as dad.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a7390489acfac400ea47f20c9f326127\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">Another woman said, \u201cI can still see my son lying on the floor crying, \u2018What\u2019s wrong with my daddy?\u2019 His heart-wrenching cry finally made me realize that his father\u2019s behavior was hurting the entire family.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-363200ad2177f6aa868e9c75f2ed523e\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">A son says, \u201cDad was so involved in his own life and what he desired in his fantasy world, he forgot all about me. He could not seem to ever move past his own selfishness. It was always about him and what he needed!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg blog-link has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6621be0e0b4c5e92acac3b551f392ba8\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">The idea that human beings can pursue delusional fantasies and embrace destructive ideologies without damaging themselves or other people is one of Satan\u2019s greatest deceptions. God calls his followers to stand for truth as presented in the Bible. To live according to The Golden Rule, we must not back away from truth.
