Back home, his father, Jacob, grieved, believing Joseph had been killed by a wild animal. No waiting by Jacob for returning so; just life long grief. But God had a plan to save all people, and Jacob and Joseph were key players in that plan to bring Jesus into the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-111c223fa558a7b811e7c09f0b6bf583 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">Occasionally, the mother\u2019s son would return for a short visit, but their relationship was never the same. Each professed their love for the other before parting. The son God had so wonderfully created had been replaced by a stranger. How long will my enemy triumph over me?\u201d (Psalm 13:2, NIV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"adobe-reg has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5bf3070cef791f1b8ef57c46642d5f80 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#1a1a1ab3;font-size:18px;letter-spacing:0px\">Prayer: Heavenly Father, it is through pain and suffering that You become real to us, and we realize it\u2019s only through Your amazing Son, Jesus, that we can see a bigger picture of Your purposes and plan for us. In our grief, help us to see and hear you clearly.
