Dennis Powell succeeded despite enduring somepainful losses. Over a ten-month span in 1989–90, two separate car accidents claimed the lives of three of his brothers and a nephew. Then just a few months later, he and his wife, Brenda, faced devastation when their three-month-old daughter died of Pulmonary Hypertension.
Dennis played 15 years of professional baseball with 8 of those years coming at Major league level with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, and Milwaukee Brewers. He also pitched Internationally in Japan, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.Currently, Dennis plays an active role independently in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.
God has gifted him with a simplistic style of communicating, and he hopes his story of redemption will strengthen men to be the leaders God has created them to be. and son relationships. Dennis is the author of Standing Over Home.

Denise Shick of Living Stones Ministries & Help 4 Families Ministry will offer you a powerful message God has laid on her heart just for you. Both ministries serving families of LGBT loved ones. . She is the author of seven children’s books and several nonfiction books, including Moving Forward in Hope and Moving Forward in Community-A Bible study companion to Moving Forward in Hope. She is an ordained minister, has a BA in psychology, a certified Biblical counselor and a certified life coach.

Code of Conduct: Living Stones Ministries requires all conference attendees to adhere to certain standards of conduct. While open discussion and questions are valuable, disruption is not acceptable. Personal recording of the speakers is prohibited.
Disruptions in or perceived disruption as reported by staff will not be tolerated and you will be removed from the seminar. Distribution of non-conference literature, campaigning for philosophical or political views, use of alcohol or narcotics, or harassment of any type is grounds for dismissal from the conference.
Persons who are asked to leave will not receive a refund. Living Stones Ministries reserves the right to remove anyone from the conference, if there is reasonable cause to believe that he or she might cause harm to themselves or others or refuses to adhere to the Code of Conduct.
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No counseling will be provided for minors.
Cancelation must be submitted one month in advance of the Unwavering Hope conference. There will be a 10% processing fee in a cancelation transaction.
