Help 4 Families is offering a webinar of fellowship, encouragement, and prayer for wives impacted by their husband’s or former husband’s struggle with transgender and relational brokenness.
When a husband comes out as transgender or expects his wife to accept cross-dressing in their intimate time together, the wife suffers silently. But to many people in our culture, the husband is the victim, and the wife is expected to embrace and celebrate her husband coming out. Truth is, the wife married a man who vowed to cherish, love, and care for her in a godly way, not a female persona.
Wives generally suffer alone. Some are afraid to share with another person what’s really happening in their home. Others are heartsick over losing their best friend, their husbands.
In recognition of the deep wounds wives experience, Help 4 Families will offer an inspirational devotion, words of encouragement, and a time of prayer during the webinar.
Our God calls for the weary and brokenhearted to seek Him in their desolate times. “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear, even if earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!” (Psalm 46:1–3)
